I have 2 user accounts on my XP Home pc - 'Administrator' and 'Owner'...It's the 'Owner' account that I use.
I wanted to remove the logon screen so I didn't have logon everytime I boot up and when I did that, the machine logs on automatically, but it logs on using the 'Administrator' account, not the 'Owner' account. I was wondering how I could change this so that it's the 'Owner' account the logons on everytime by default?
Thanks!
Homer

You can only have one active account in order to do what you want to do. The guest account will need to be turned off and then only the admin or owner account can be used without having to log on to an account. The sole account must have admin priviledges.
Then delete the admin account and reboot. If you still have to log in then you must go back to user accounts and select to change how you logon and it will remove the logon option and boot straight to the owner accountIf you so desire you can change the name of the owner account also!

You can set an auto-logon. When booting, before the Administrator login actually logs in, hold down the shift key. Then, login as Owner.
You can either install TweakUI and configure that to login with your Owner account (much easier than the following), or;
Open the Registry to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurretnVersion\winlogon
Add a new string value called AutoAdminLogon, and set its value to 1
Add a new string value entry called DefaultPassword, and set its value to the password of the user shown in DefaultUserName
Life's more painless for the brainless.
