I am interested in learning how to make changes to the All Users registry. In the registry editor the account shows as a long number starting with S-. This number is different on every computer, right?
I need to make several edits and making them in a batch file is best (given that there are 50 computers that all need this change applied).
I just can't figure out how to access the All Users registry. Any ideas?

Forget about what you are trying to do. The All Users in the Documents & settings is part of Windows Xp protected hierarchial folders. You change it and you will wonder why your windows no longer is stable.

"The number is different on every computer, right?" Yes. It's different for every PROFILE On every computer.
Are you running AD? Why not just use a GPO? And, to make changes to the screensaver, you wouldn't edit the user SID under that Hive.
