Umm, changing a few bytes of a file in windows wont get anyone in trouble.. Your not circumventing anything..

If you read the main article that was published by the people who found this. They state that it turn Home into PRO, but you only gain a few features. You dont get all benifets of Pro. And basicly the features it turns on you can get by installing 2003 server resource pack.

So dont get your undies in a bunch.

It's kinda like this..

You have a game or program installed. But everytime you have to use this you need to have the cd in the drive to run the program..

So you look for a no cd crack.. here you replaced the exe file so the program runs but doesn't need the cd anymore..

Your still within your rights and you have broken any laws.
