Comment:

Can anyone advise if a centrino laptop is good enough to do video editing with & play games such as NHL 2005/6 Call of duty etc.
OR
Should I opt for a Pentium 4 3.4 gig Laptop.

I believe the Centrino machines run a bit cooler that the P4 ...but are they better or are they just good for office work?

Thanks in advance to those who answer.

Read this article which says Intel's Centrino technology means great things for video-editing mobile warriors.

Video editting is one thing...gaming is quite another. Unless you pay big bucks for a laptop with decent video, your gameplay will suck.
