Please can you help I just upgraded to windows xp and now my CD writer wont work ? Tried to find new drivers for it but can only find ones for window's 98 is there anything I can do ? My CDRW is an Acer 84321A-137 Please anyone help its driving me mad Thanks Lee

What do you mean it won't work? Can you see the drive under my computer? CDRW shouldn't need any driver for it to work under XP.

Is the cdrw not registering in my computer, or will the burning software not work? What type of software does your burner use to create the cds? We just installed a new burner on our computer over the weekend. It's an Iomega 40x12x48 and it uses Hot Burn software. It works fine the only problem is that the only burning that takes place appears to be under MY LOGIN. So anyone else that needs something burned has to either transfer their data to a shared folder that I can access or give them my password..........
