Having problems with my CDRW drive. The CDRW is the master on my 2nd IDE along with a DVD drive which is the slave. When I turn on my computer or reboot the system the drive normally works without any problems. After the computer has been on for awhile the drive stops functioning and I have to use the paperclip method to even open the door. BIOS and Windows recognizes the drive but when I try to utilize it, I get the drive is not accessible or there's no CD in the drive, etc. The drive is a 3 month old Cendyne 52X24X52X. What could possibly be causing the drive to stop functioning after the computer has been on for a certain period?

I apologize. I probably should have look closer and seen the hardware forum although I think it might be a software issue since my previous CDRW somewhat did the same thing.
