CD-RW not working in XP

Comment:
My Internal Acer CD-RW installs fine in XP, and XP supposedly installs a driver for it. The only problem is that the CD-RW will not Read any CD that I put into it. (The CD-RW show us as a ATAPI CD-RW 10x8x32)
Does anyone have any idea what's going on or know of any problem like this? My CD-RW worked fine in Windows 98.
