CD-RW Eject Problem

Whenever I right click on the E drive letter in XP to eject a CD/RW from the Lite-On burner in my Presario, the tray opens and then closes a total of five times before the on-screen "CD Ejected" box appears. I'm using Roxio to burn Data CDs and the burner works flawlessly. Does anyone know what's causing this?
