Hey there,
I'm having trouble with my CD-RW Drive. When trying to burn a CD (usally DVD-RW/CD-RW), all the CD-RW drive does is make a small noise, and the green light flashes for a short time. An icon also appears on screen showing its reading or trying to read the disc. I decided to install my old CD-RW and try that, upon completion of installation, all was well so i tried burning some files onto disc/s (DVD-RW/CD-RW). The same happened again, just a few flashing lights and some noises. Usually, a menu would pop up asking me what i wanted to do, but this isnt happening on EITHER CD-RW drives. Anyone have any ideas? Thankyou for any help.
The one fitted into my computer, i really have no Idea, theres no product name anywhere. As for my other one, it's Freecom. For some reason the fitted CD-RW auto disables "Enable CD Recording on this device" in properties. Whilst Freecom has this option enabled, it still wont Burn.
