Comment:

When I try to use media player or my computer to erase an audio cdrw the option never appears.Below are the instructions from the help file, but when I double click the audio CDRW it begins to play, it does not do what is described in the help file.

To erase files from a CD
open My Computer.
Double-click the CD recording drive. Windows displays the files and folders located on the CD.
Under CD Writing Tasks, click Erase this CD-RW. Windows displays the CD Writing Wizard.
Follow the instructions in the wizard to delete the files .

Any help would be appreciated
Mike C.

Haven't got it in front of me, but from memory:

In "My Computer", try single right-clicking the CDRW drive. A bunch of options should come up...

Yes - you didn't say you wanted to delete an individual file. This isn't possible, to my knowledge. Simplest way is to copy over the wanted files to HD, erase CDRW, and copy back wanted files, but I'm sure you've worked that out!!!

Things were much easier when you had to "record" files onto audio cassettes, weren't they?

It is SOOOOOO LAME that you can't erase a single file or folder of off a cdrw. Microschlock should stick to OSs and leave the burning software to others.
