Hi. :)

I'm currently trying to burn some data CD-RW disks, but whitout luck.
I'm using Nero Express 6. The burning process looks just fine, I simply add the files and click burn. But when I have to read the disks, no computer finds the data. When I look at the disk, I can see the tracks clearly, dark where there is data, light where there isn't. A laptop tells that it can delete the files on the rw, but the dark tracks stays, and the drive won't accept the disks as empty.

The only facts I can see about the burner is "PIONEER DVD RW DVR-106D"
The RW cds is some "SAMSUNG PLEOMAX CDRW10x" cds.
Normal CD-R data disks works fine, but doesn't have anyone right now; and I doesn't need a pernament disk.

It would be a present if anyone could fix this problem, but any help is welcome.

P.S: The current data I need to burn is some drivers for a LATITUDE D-600 laptop, which doesn't have cardreader, usb or ethernet drivers.

CDs are pretty inexpensive, purchase a few CD-Rs. Sooner or later you will have a use for them.

Or try manually setting the burn speed slower.

erase the RW disc and then try.
It should work for you, I've done it many times using sonic record now erase feature

Also, on Easy CD you can reformat the CD so it can be used in Direct CD, that will erase everything and let you re-use the RW...I've also done that tons of times

Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
