I have a bizarre problem that I can't figure out. I installed a Creative CD-RW in my new computer. When my computer starts, I can access the CD-ROM by typing E: from the Run menu, but when I open My Computer I can't find it in the list! I can't figure out how to make it show up. Can anyone help me with this problem?

do you have TweakUI or anything installed that has the option of turning on/off the visibility of items in my computer. under tweakui, you could have accidentally told it to hide the E drive in my computer. i'd check that first if indeed you have tweakui.

Ahh! Thank you so much. I knew it had to be something simple. It's actually my dad's computer and I was installing the CD burner for him. I didn't know he had Tweak UI on here.
