I recently upgraded my smart and friendly 4x2x24 cdrw to a yamaha 2200edk. for some reason the cdrom icons in windows explorer always show the very first disk that was put into the drive. i've put in new disks, hit F5 but it never changes. the cdroms both work fine.

any suggestions?

Hi, I have the exact same problem, have performed a clean install, and run dual boots Win 98 on C: and Win XP pro on D:. In Win 98, no problem, the Volume is refreshed instantky, under XP it only shows the first volume I insert!!

HAve you found a solution, or can anyone else help!!!!
