Today I've noticed that my CD-ROM won't work. It doesn't open -- no lights "light" up and whenever I go to my computer to try to open it from there, it freezes my computer! Does anyone know what is happening?

Check if the drive is seen properly in BIOS. Reset/refresh BIOS if not.

Helsa, computers can do some really 'off-the-wall' things. Reboot and see if that helps. Works sometimes.
