If I click on windows media player window and move it around while the CD/DVD is playing the sounds/picture becomes very choppy. I have a Sony laptop with OS:Win XP, 550 MHz, 252 MB of RAM, and a 6.72 GB with 4.02 GB of free space remaining. Could someone please tell me how to fix this problem

this isnt uncommon. if you have s sound card such as sound blaster live then you can alot a certain amount of memory to it in the EAX settings, and that might help. otherwise, its just one of those things slower systems do, sadly. more ram might help, as that is pretty much the minimum you want with XP. otherwise, i'm out of ideas.
But seriously, it's probably due to a low amount of memory on the video card. I am curious as to why you don't just leave the window in one position and leave it alone while you are watching movies.
