MY CD/DVD ROM will not read or display in my computer.... it say its a removable disk!!!??? i have tried uninstalling the hardware for the removable disk but when computer restarts it adds the hardware again as Removable disk!!?? why is it doing this it should read it as a CD/DVD rom ????

ok enter the bios at startup go to advanced then goto advanced configuration then select boot device priorerty see if cd/dvd:H2-BT-STDVD-ROMGDR8160B is there then make sure it has that there and not disabled if it is disable select it and save changes and reboot then the cd will read and work the second course could be inside the computer where the cd drive is the cable has come loose and unpluged itself from the motherboard or power to the dvd drive making you have no connection so it will not see it if one of these leads have come out so check you leads are all in tact and make sure all your drivers are up to date to check this by going to the device manager my right clicking my computer hardwear device manager and then selcting cd / dvd rom drives then expand that and select cd rom drive right click properties and then on the genral tab there is saying if the hardwear is working correctly if not it will tell you otherwise then select proble shoot and it will take you though the trouble shoot steps and last of all if you have upgraded any softwear your drivers may be out of date making this not work so in the case if it is the problem go to driver and then select the tool update drivers and then it will guide you though the steps let us know how you get on any more help needed please email me at Log_me_inn@ymail.com good luck hope you understand it
