CD/DVD rom not listed in the device manager

I tried installing a new DVD drive in my computer but now neither the new or old CD/DVD drives are even listed in the device manager. In the device manager there is nothing for the CD or DVD drives, not even a listing to see whats installed. There is no error message or yellow !, there is nothing for it. Please help!

Did you set the jumper for the Master/Slave configuration?
