OS: Windows XP
Product: Microboards Microboards lightscribe recordable/printable cd-r, 300 disc
Subcategory: Configurations
Comment:

Using Windows XP build 2: D: drive (cd/dvd drive) will not read data CD’s. (Music files will play.) Autorun will not run, setup will not run. “My Computer” will see the drive but not show the files. Explore will see the drive and display the files but will not run any of them. Text (.txt) files can not be viewed when double clicked in explore but will read with notepad when browsed to.
Any fixes come to mind?

mm bit odd this one?

When you view the drive in system hardware listings... any "yellow" (error) indicator attached/next to it?

Possibly remove and re-install drivers?

Worst-case - there may be sumat amiss with the drives's on-board electronics?
