In Explorer, just drag some files to your CDRW drive with a blank disc in it.

But I would stay away from Windows CD writing program. Too many shiny frisbees laying around afterwards. Get Nero if you have problems.

Okay, I'll get more detail.

Open Windows Explorer. Insert a blank CD into your CDRW drive. Now, click and drag the files you want to burn from the folder where they are... to the CDRW drive. As soon as you do that, a little balloon will pop up telling you that you have files waiting to be written to the cd. Click on that balloon and it'll open a window showing you the files that are waiting. You can continue adding files by dragging them into that window. When you have all the files you want to burn, click on File >> "write these files to cd".

If you're looking for the "exe" file to open up... I don't know where it is.

there is no programme, its a service within windows, if its not running you can enable it by going to control panal, admin tools, services and looking for a IMAPI burning service, double click on it and select automatic, then you try to burn it will just work.

talisman,

Thanks, I din't think there was a "program" for Windows cd wizard. I don't use it anyway, but thanks for clearing that up.
