CD RW not working

Power etc is fine - using a HP CD writer Plus 7200e. Power getting to unit ok, though drive is not recognised - tried messing witt LPT Port settings and downloaded every driver and software upgrades possible ..
Still no joy..

Hi Mark!
I had same problem with HP7200e
I nstalled the WinXP_LPT_Driver.exe
You can download it at:

http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swdl.pl?c=co186&i=co186en&p=hpcd-write10790&n=hp+cd-writer+plus+external+7200e+drive

Or just search for it in Google.
