I'm about to format my cd-rw in Direct-CD in Easy CD Creator. There is an option to compress the cd-rw, and I'm just wondering what might be some drawbacks from compressing a cd-rw?
There's no compression available for Direct CD in Easy CD Creator 5.x, and probably not in version 6.x either

Are you sure? because there really is a part in the Direct CD window which tells you if your cd-rw is compressed or not, mine shows not because I haven't tried compressing it yet.
