Hope this helps someone else! I have a Philips cdd 3610 and no way would it work after installing Windows XP it kept on freezing on find cd as a last resort I went to Goldenhawk site downloaded the following ftp://ftp.cdarchive.com/pub/goldenhawk/download/aspight.exe and now all is OK

Download the "Patin-couffin" driver... After installing every possible ASPI version and numerous cdr software, this is the only one that made my CDD 3610 work on XP. It comes with tha Blindwrite Suite (www.blindwrite.com) which is available on trial version only, but anyway, you can uninstall it (the driver remains... or the problem just dissapers, i dont know!)
