Hi there everyone.I posted a question before about problems with cd rom drive. I tried all the sugestions out but none of them work. here is my problem. Everytime i start windows with the cd rom inside the cd rom drive,just when the computer is loading the ligin screen , the computer just restarts by itself.i've tried unisnstalling the aspi files and put the most stable adaptec one but it still does not work.i have nero 6 installed and nero also has it's own aspi files.when i the BOD, here's what is says:-

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
RDR_FILE_SYSTEM

STOP: 0x00000027 (0XBAAD0U9C, 0XF8A02678, 0XF8A02378, 0XEF7C2BA5)

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me on this matter.

I'd ask, did it ever work correctly? If so then do a system restore to that point.

I think I'd do an add/remove programs for the nero stuff. Including the udf reader.

See if it works.

Then if you want to re-install nero be sure to UPDATE it BEFORE you ever try to open nero. Seems that if you open or run nero before you get the update it can have problems on some machines.

Two things to try:

0. Disable automatic restart (startup & recovery).
1. Set your pagefile to system managed size.

Hi there!
The last time when i tried to update nero, my whole computer crashed. An to top it off, i could never enter windows. it would just come to a black screen and wait over there.moreover i had to enter safe mode bakup my data and then format cause i had no other choice.The last time (A few months back) i had no problem like this. i did not update nero that time. the problem has only poped up now. I will try to uninstall nero and see what happens. thanks Anyway. If you do have more sugestions please continue to post them here.
