Comment: My computer is acting kind of sluggish lately and every time i do anything on the computer the cursor disappears and the CD read icon appears in its place. There is no activity coming from the CD roms. Does this mean something is wrong? Thanks, Kevin

Reply: Stab in the dark: right click taskbar > properties > start menu tab > clear button. Other than that scan for adware with ad-aware or spybot and run a virus scan.
