CD Drive problems

Every time i click on my CD Drive icon it says: "The drive or network connection that the shortcut "Shortcut to CD Drive.ink" refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, then try again. What does this mean???

Do you mean the desktop icon? Simply create a new one; the old one may have gotten corrupted. It happens.

how do i create a new cd drive folder because i dont have one in the my computer folder???

see the reason i cant create a new folder is because some how the original CD Drive folder got deleted or something and now all i have is a folder called shortcut to CD Drive on my desktop and it has a CD Drive picture with a question mark on it. What should i do???

Need to know a few basics about the drive. Is it the primary or secondary? Did it come with the PC or did you add it later?
