CD Drive Doesn't Open

spantheman, Have you tried going into My Computer, then right click that drive and click "Eject" ? Tufenuf

As Jennifer suggested, rebooting is the first thing to try. If that doesn't help, the drive is either broke or not getting any power. Check the power connector.

I tried going into My Computer and right clicking on CD Drive and hitting eject...nothing happened but it locked up my computer?
