Comment:

My computer CD Drive suddenly disappeared after I installed Easy CD Creator 5. Apparently, Creator 5 did not come with a driver for XP, so I updated it. But then, my D drive, was deleted from My Computer and there is no way for me to run any CD's at all. I tried calling up the Troubleshooter, but it said that the drive was corrupted and Windows called it a Code 39 (no idea what that means) Someone suggested System Restore, but that confused me even more. HELP!

System Restore is your best bet!
Click on start/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore.
Just choose a date before you installed it.
