I have burned a few other games with no problem but yesterday I tried to burn the "Sims" and it kept saying the CD was dirty or scratched and to clean it and try again.I did this and still the same message.I have 5 Sims games that I tried to copy and no luck with any of them. Is Sims a game that just won't copy? Is there a way to get it to copy?

Sims won't copy and I hope this is not bordering on a piracy issue... it's not welcome here!

sry I upset anyone but I wanted to make copies so my grandson ( the younger one) can play these without scratching them up for his older brother. I have a lot of money in these dog gone games.

Hi Elaine
It is possible to copy Sims games ... or the majority of them. I have copied The Sims, The Livin Large Expansion Pak and The Hot Date Expansion Pack with no problem whatsoever. I tried the Unleashed Expansion Pak and had all kinds of problems. I don't know if it's because it is a newer game or not. I needed to copy them for my 11 year old daughter. She is very careless with CD's and I figured she could use the copies to play her games and when they wouldn't work anymore I'd make a new copy from the originals which I am keeping safe. I used CloneCD to copy the first 3 and it works wonderfully. If you do a google search for CloneCD you will be able to download an evaluation version. The only thing is that it will only work for 21 days I think. After that you will have to pay for registration.
Good luck.
