recently my cd burner (samsung CD-R/RW SW-408B BS02) is not working i read the other posts saying to download the adaptec UDF Reader i installed it and still it doesn't work.

Andys right. I had the same problem and I was going to get a new one. For the heck of it I opened it up cleaned the lens and never had the problem again. Try it
