Specs: Windows XP
Norton ccSvcHst.exe keeps using up to 100% of my CPU, slowing internet access. Can it be fixed?

snowdon, my advice, get rid of Norton's. It's a notorious memory hog and there're lots of good freebies around (I personally use Avast!).
Be aware that Norton's can be a real bear to get rid of unless it's done properly. Look in the Norton's folder and there should be an uninstaller that knows where all the bodies are buried.

Bring up Norton History and see what it is doing when your CPU usage is high. Then contact Norton Chat Support. There are many causes, and they can usually fix your problem.
