ccapp.exe problem

I am having serious problems with "ccapp.exe".
I know its from Norton, but the problem is that it suddenly goes from 0% CPU usage to 98%.

I have this problem too in Norton Internet Security 2004. I can only get round it by having Email Scanning turned off. I'm on the verge of ditching Norton and getting something else
