Hey i had loads of trouble with my comp a few weeks ago.. n after many trys and failures in trying to fix it .. i took it to a repair shop who said it was the hard drive which is wat i htought.. so he put a new hard drive in and a extra gig of ram which i asked for.. but cos hes there fore put a new opertating system on cos its a new harddrive (like a new XP) .. im wondering if maybe its missin some drives or something the reason being that.. My computer has a bulit in card reader in the front.. n it has 4 extra drives in the 'My computer' screen 1 for each card drive.. it still has these bbut now when i push a card in the green lighte comes on to show its in .. but i click on the drive and theres nothing.. it used to come up with auto play askin wat i wated to do .. but now .. nothing i need to be wable to get to my pics .. n i cant.. the card reader is picking up nothing.. hmm any ideas?? maybe a missing driver that the guy in the shop didnt put on? thanks for any help

1st thing....take it back to the shop....he did a job but he didn't do it right. If it worked before, obviously the repair wasn't thorough enough. So many shops get away with that anymore. They Pass the buck. Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructionsPlease Post Results

You don't need special drivers for card reader slots. Support for them is built into XP.
