I own an ASUS V7700 GeForce 2 GTS and I have installed all of Asus's drivers and everything. Just about everything works great. The problem is that I cant select my codec. When I open up Asus Live, set it to "Capture" mode, click on "Setup" then go to "Capture CODEC" it crashes. This happens on ANY program where I am supposed to choose the codec. Someone think they can help?

ok, I kinda found the solution to this prob. I has ASUS ASV1 Capture Encoder installed. This asusasv1.dll was what was causing the codec selection to crash. But now a new problem arises, windows it not letting me remove this encoder I have only renamed the dll to something else. Now all capture programs except the ASUS Live! program and specific codec programs (programs that ONLY have the option to record to Mpeg 1 or 2) are crashing. I think the reason is that the encoder is still there under the settings but it cannot find the dll. Any way for me to remove the encoder? I tried clicking "Remove" but it just shows up again when I go back to look at the properties.
