Capture a picture from a movie

Hello. Is a program that will allow you to capture a picture from a movie

easy way to do so, is pause the movie, hit ctrl+prtscr and it will copy it into the clipboard. open paint and bring down edit and select paste, you got your picture

That usually doesn't work and just comes up as a screenshot with a black spot where the movie should be. Open the movie in Windows Movie Maker. If you don't have it, download it from MS for free somewhere. Once you import it into Movie Maker, find the clip and the part you want. Then go over by the lower right hand corner of the movie preview window and click the camera. It lets you save that selected frame.

Try using Ctrl+I in Windows Media Player. This works for some video formats :)

I use "PowerDVD" to play DVDs on my PC and it has a print screen facility.

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

Try this to get Print Screen to work if you're using WMP to view the movie

WMP Options>Performance>Advanced Button
Disable 'use overlays'

To add to my post,after disabling "use overlays" hit Print screen key,open Paint and paste using Edit.
