I used to be able to put a movie in and watch it on my laytop but now the movie disc appears but there is never a play movie option so I can't watch them. I can watch a choppy Version in Real Player though.

No, it is a new Compaq Presario laptop and I have been very careful with what I install. I have Microsoft Office, Corel Draw and a translation program. Other than that I haven't installed or deleted anything. The movie auto starts but with no play movie option. Media Player is version 9.00.00.2980.
