Cant uninstall part of a game

I have installed a copy of a game which worked on my computer a few weeks back but when i installed it just now it came up with a missing dll error. the error said reinstalling the game might fix this error but when i tried it was giving me another error so i deleted the files manually by clicking on the folder and deleting them, but now there are still some files hanging around somewhere because when i click to install the game again it says play instead of install and plus in add/remove programs it still shows 20mb somewhere and i cant find where anyone know where to look? ive check the operating system hard drive under program files without no luck.

Do a search for the game name both on the whole hd and the registry.

how do i search the registry? i searched the hd and deleted all the files i found accept for the actual game folder. It just says play when i try to reinstall it and i get this message if i click uninstall http://img96.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pic14lt.png

Well, just delete the game folder. When you reinstall it will put everything back.
If you don't know how to do the Registry, stay out of it for now.

ive deleted it all but when i load the iso file to reinstall the game it still picks it up as if it is installed because it has play instead of install and if i click play it says not found anyway.
