Can't Uninstall McAfeeVirusScan2008

I was installed McAfee VirusScan 2008 trial version but my systems become slow and didn't shutdown so i went for uninstall mcafee but when i click for uninstall mcafee the screen of uninstaller was blank or hang so i deleted all the files of mcafee i can delete.mcafee is not apperaring in add remove programe list. but my system shows that mcafee running and another lead antivirus are not running or hang. i tried mcafee removal tool and av uninstaller but nothing happend. please tell me what i do for uninstall this software.

This is just a thought, but I believe I would go here http://us.mcafee.com/root/downloads... and scroll down till you see free trial of McAfee Virus Scan 2008, and if that is indeed the same version you are trying to remove, but not having any luck, you may want to try to install it again, and then remove. Click on 30 day trial version, download it, execute the program, then try to remove. Note: make sure that the version is the same as the one you have.

Try Regseeker. Free from http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm Ask it to find everything that says McAfee in the Registry and then delete it. You should make a backup of the Registry first to be on the safe side. Regseeker makes a backup automatically of anything you delete. I suggest you CTL+ALT+Delete and stop anything that says McAfee from running. Then run Regseeker. Stay off line while deleting as you are then open to attack.
