First I changed my F: to D:
Then I couldnīt use add remove to uninstall Daemon tools so I did it manually...deleted the folder, un-checked everything in "msconfig" startup. And deletet 2 files in windows/system32/drivers...(pnpshark and st3shark)The thing is that when Iīm going to install a new version of Daemon Tools the the setup goes straight to 1)Repair or 2)Uninstall
Eighther way I go this message comes up:
īdaemon_toolsīis not a valid short file name. And then it exites.
Any ideas?

Ran through regedit and deleted eveything with "daemon" (that had to do with it).
That didnīt help :/

0) I'm assuming you don't have any virtual CD-ROM drives enabled.
1) Run regedit and browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Browse thru the keys that resemble {2DF9A978-DEA1-4433-805D-66790FC28C62}.
One of them is for Daemon Tools--you can tell by the values. Make note of the name, then delete the entire key.
2) Run explorer and browse to a folder with the same name as the registry key. Delete it as well.I think that's everything. (This procedcure is necessary for manually removing all traces of an MSI installer.)

hmm... I followed your post CyberSlug and I didnīt find anything. There were some registery folders were there wasnīt a name, just 2 lines with indo on where the setup.exe was. No program name. I exported those and then deleted them.
Restarted and nothing. The setup just now says, the older version couldnīt be removed.
hmm...
Anything else that you can think of?

Hmm...I don't know.
I'd say try the Daemon-Tools support page, but their entire website seems down :-(

I did it!
Thanks CyberSlug, you but me on the right track. It was in Regedit under
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/installer/productsIN there was a entry that didnīt have a Name...so I exported it (backup) and then deleted it.
And tat was it.Thanks.
