Does anyone know why I get this message in my event log? "Hanging application msimn.exe, version 6.0.2600.0, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000."What ever it is its causing my PC to hang on the shut down screen and seems to be slowing my it down, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This file MSIMN.exe is the Microsoft Outlook Express 5/6 program. One possibility is a Virus ( Happy 99 ) which can cause problems with Outlook. Have you Anti-virus ? If you are sure you are free of virus, try to repair / Reinstall Outlook, as it looks as if outlook is having problems closing.
Hope this helps or others can help you further if needed.
