Can't search files on network drive

Subject: Can't search files on network drive
OS: Windows XP SP2
CPU/Ram: 1.7GHz/512MB
Comment:

I tried to search for a file located on network drive using file name but search returns no result even though the file is there.

When the file is moved to a local drive, search can find it.

This happens to all files regardless of extentions.

This network drive is located on Windows 2k server.
