can't se my SATA disk in DOS

I have a server running win2003 server and have a folder with WindowsXP installation files that i intend to use for unattended installs...
i have a boot floopydisk that i use to connect to the server through the lan and then start the installation.. it works fine on ide drives but not when using SATA drives...
and the install doesent look like when installing from cd.. no option to install drivers from floopy (F6)
