Comment:

I used to be able to run command prompt fine, but now I get an error message:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MS Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

What can I do?

Maybe because the levee is broken?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

The fix that worked for several people was to put a fresh copy of autoexec.nt on.

See if it works in Windows
Safe-Mode. This option uses a minimal
set of device drivers and services to
start Windows. Hold down F8 during boot.
