Hi All,
Just recenlty I downloaded " Spybot- search and destroy" program from download.com. I ran that program to fix erros and it also has one option called" immunize" which i also ran. After running that program i can not open any program on my PC. I can't even run " msconfig and regedit". Whenever i try to run any program i get this message:
" This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Option control panel "
I would highly appreciate if anyone can guide me to solve this problem.

Try using system restore for a start - back to a point before you ran SpyBot (I have wondered why it's got the disclaimer "Use at your own risk" at the top) Try running system in Safe Mode and, if it works, start Spybot/immunize and run the 'undo' option

Thank you so much Per and Johnr for your tips. The xp fixes-fix exe files from dougknox.com really fixed my PC and now it's working perfectly fine :) I really appreciate you guys for taking the time out and reply to my post.
