Hello. I'm using Windows XP. My problem is that after work with it aproximately two hours, I can't run any more applications or shutdown the system.
Anyone can suppose what is happening? Thanx.

Um, sorry but i need some more info. what exactly happens when u try to open an application? is there any kind of error message or does the app just not come up? and what exactly happens when u try to shutdown?

Based on the limited info., I'll take a guess and say poor ventilation or an inadequate/dying power supply.

Sorry. I'll try to give more info.
After some time running, when trying to run an application, mouse pointer changes to a sand clock pointer, trying to run the application but then, the mouse pointer return to its usual form and nothing happens. When I try to shutdown, simply doesn't shutdown. If I try to shutdown 2 or 3 times, the machine gets completely freeze.
If it helps you, before all this happened, an error message appeared related to the svchost.exe "SVCHOST.EXE has made an illegal operation" or something similar. But now, there's no message error. Thanks a lot.
