Can't Run 16-bit windows prg error

Im facing a problem that the windows XP cannot start a chinese NJSTAR program and it will pop up a error say that "Can't run 16-bit windows program" but last time i can open this program. The msg say that can't run more than 1 copy specific program. Can anyone help me .... thanks...

The reason you can not run a 16-bit application is because Windows XP is a 32-bit platform. The simple way to overcoming this little problem, would be to...

Right Click the .exe file for the application
Goto: Properties
Click on the 'Compatibility' Tab
Click the check box that says: 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'
Then in the combo box, choose "Windows 95"
Click OK
