Hi
I'm trying to repair my xp pro but I'm asked for an administrator password.
I'm pretty sure I didn't set one when I installed it and so I can't repair.
Is there any way around this other than installing it agian?

If you never set an admin password, you should be able to just hit enter when it asks for the password. This site has good guidelines for using the Recovery Console:

If your're certain there was no Admin password then just press Enter/OK.
If you have another account with Administrator priviledges you can create a Password rescue disk.

Hi, thanks
I forgot to say I've hit enter on the password prompt, but it just assumes I didn't supply a password and asks again
I've checked those URLs but I can't even load xp on my other harddrive as I get blue screen so I need to repair from cd

That Repair XP site also has instructions for reinstalling XP over itself. Press enter at the setup screen, and you should get to a screen which gives you the choice to either install a fresh copy, or repair an existing install. Choose repair.

I am sorry I lost contact before. My oproblem is ythat I installed a copy of Moicrosift. Windoes XO and dod nopt install a Cintent Advisor password. I am now unable to get through on the Net brcause Content Advisor rquires the password whoich I have not got.
I hsave tried all sorts of ways to get through but have not succeeded.
Would you please advise me what I can do to get access to the net?
Signed. F.C.Harland
