I want to remove my default domain from an XP machine that I just installed service pack 2 on in order to determine the interaction of the domains website with outside customers logging into the site. The problem is that although it was easy to remove from the Trusted Sites list, the default domain is still a Trusted Site. I know this because of the pop-up dialog that says "the current web page is trying to open a site in your Trusted Sites list..." when I try to login to the domain web page. I've been told that there is a registry key to clear, but a search of the registry for the domain name yields nothing. Maybe encrypted? Does anyone know how to completely remove the default domain from the Trusted Sites list? Thanks for the help.
