Can't remove item from Start Menu

I'm using the XP Start Menu, and basically a shortcut has pinned itself in the top left hand side - here's a picture - http://irot.co.uk/menu.jpg
I've right-clicked and tried removing it, including a restart after, there is no un-pin option, I've changed my menu between classic and XP, I've tried just about every option in the customise > advanced folder, and it just won't die!! Suggestions muchly needed, thanks in advance :)

No, MyMusic, with the red X next to it. I just want to delete the shortcut, as I have it on the right hand side where it should be; I don't want it on the other side (where it's marked).

If it is above the barely visable little gray line it is a system file and will stay there till a warm place gets cold. Or you remove the program that put it there. If it appears below the line and above where it says> all programs. Then all that is telling you is that is one of the last files you accessed and provides a quick restart point(icon). The list shoves off the oldest entry for the youngest one. Just one of the things about xp you get used to.

Yes, it's above the line (as the picture shows). So to remove it, I'd have to remove that actual folder??
