My computer won't play .swf files on the internet at all, all i see is a broken quicktime link. I have the newest shockwave, flash, and quicktime players so I don't understand where the problem is coming from?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Broken quicktime link? Sounds like Quicktime is trying to take over the .swf file extension on your computer. I've never heard of that before but....try reinstalling flash to see if it will associate the .swf files again ;)
