Hi i am new to this but am wanting to know how to put my footage from mini disc onto computer as it will not play
So you where able to download the File from the Camera? If so then you need to convert it to a Codec that will play on your computer like AVI. Just download a free converter...

Or install VideoLAN Client, a free video player that plays the most types of videos. The original poster should always write the last response !!!

I have recorded footage onto the mini disk on vid cam but when insert disk into hard drive on computer the disk does not show anything what can i do i am new to this so am stuck with it.
Did you get any software with the camera?
Go to My Computer ->
Open the Drive that is the MiniDisk ->
go to the folder specified in your instuction for the camera ->
Right-click and copy the files ->
go to your videos folder ->
right-click and paste.
